Also to establish power, religious prowess, military and cultural dominance, wars were waged and on the pages of history, long periods of war we all have read about. But the hundred years war between England and France is something different in terms of war strategy, war motive, and war effects as well.

The war ranged from 1337 to 1453 approx. Yes, stunningly enough this is really a huge span of time, the demography was really war-ravaged. All the wars were fought on the lands of France for about 116 years. This major war was fought between England and France but later Burgundy was also known to join the battle. The most important name that comes up whenever we talk about the hundred years war is Joan of Arc.
